Created by Tony Award®-winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Michael Jackson into legendary status.

MJ is startin’ somethin’ as it makes its St. Louis premiere at the Fabulous Fox in May of 2024.

Opulent beyond man’s dreams, travelers died crossing the Sahara in search of Timbuktu! Set against this exotic locale is the story of the Poet, his beautiful daughter, Marsinah; an evil Wazir of Police; his restless Wife of Wives, Lundanda; and The Mania of Mali, Bobo. While wandering incognito, Bobo meets Marsinah and instantly falls in love. Still, the twisted twine of fate must unravel in many thrilling and exciting ways before the two lovers can finally tie the knot.

International Folk Dance Anniversary Celebration

Please Join Us!  Celebrating 60-year Anniversary of St. Louis Folk Dance Association. 

Traditional dances, mainly line and circle patterns - no couples required.  Dance to wonderful music in a welcoming environment.  Great exercise - no skill or experience needed - OR relax and watch.  

Three plus days of celebration starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, May 30th at Focal Point in Maplewood and continuing through Sunday, June 2nd.
