On Friday, December 15th the Missouri Department of Conservation is hosting an Owl Prowl. Who’s that hooting it up each December evening?? Owls that’s who. You can learn what makes them such effective nighttime hunters and why they hoot so much this time of year and then take a walk on the Short Loop of the Fallen Oak Trail and see if you can entice any owls to fly in and chat. This Owl Prowl takes place on Friday, December 15th from 6:30pm to 8pm at Busch Memorial Conservation Area in St. Charles.
