<description>Click here to download an mp3 of the song "My Attack."
Middle Class Fashion describes their music as somewhere between minor key pop and bouncy pop with a dark side. However, the band's darker lyrics are almost entirely overshadowed by the bounce and the pop. This trio has successfully combined their talents to create an album that pianist, Jenn Melzone, says is so rewarding that it feels like their first child. Girl Talk is made with a lot of love and, of course, at least a little bit of pain.

Yankee Racers debut album, Duologue, includes guitarist Curt Brewer and keyboardist Nathan Jatcko, although the album also features vocalists Seth Porter (The Blind Eyes), Jason Holler (Kentucky Knife Fight), David Beeman (Old Lights), and many other vocalists and musicians. According to Curt Brewer, the album includes a small army of St. Louis artists (three drummers, two percussionists, a small orchestra, 11-12 vocalists, four bassists, two guitarists, and one piano player). Duologue is actually far more than what it makes itself out to be. Community-logue might be a better name.

QChord + Ken consists of Ken Pfeiste and his QChord, an electronic instrument similar to an autoharp, but with more chords and only available in the color purple. Ken plays quirky pop-folk on topics like Harry Smith, the curator of the American Anthology of Folk Music, and canned hams and beer-brewing competitions at the county fair.
