My Name Is Nobody: Live at KDHX
| My Name Is Nobody: Live at KDHX |
The members of My Name Is Nobody possess a certain je ne sais quoi, and not just because they’re from Pays de la Loire, France. With hushed acoustic guitars and delicate percussion that explode into pop choruses, the neo-folk rockers spent the evening with Nomadic Reverie.

Suggesting a sound somewhere between the mysterious acoustics of Vetiver and the nervous prog rock of the Decemberists, My Name Is Nobody released The Mentor (with fellow travelers Desert Foxes) on Collectif-Effervescence in 2009. The band took its name from a Sergio Leone spaghetti western and features the singing and songwriting of Vincent Dupas, along with Faustine Seilman (keys), Erwan Fauchard (bass), and Franzl O'Gautreau (drums). They performed live at the Cranky Yellow Gallery in Saint Louis on September 16, 2009. |
