The St. Louis, MO based trio of Ian Quattrocchi (18andCounting Only Ensemble, Broom, Hai Q), Todd Dillon (Broom) and Q (Thrak) come together as huht to create free-form, and improvisational-leaning music. Huht's sound focuses on a hypnotic simplicity that blends heavy percussion with a deeply moody atmosphere. The result is dark and rhythmic excursions with no self-imposed limits. The band flirts with Krautrock, Prog Rock, Noise and Jazz, and is always willing to challenge listeners in unexpected ways.

Founding member of The Bump & Hustle STL | The Funky Rewind | Afreaka. With a mission to preserve true deejay culture, DJ Makossa lives for the funk. 16+ years, thousands of records and hundreds of gigs later, Makossa shows no signs of slowing down. Specializing in funk, soul, reggae, hip-hop and various types of world music, Makossa is constantly searching for that perfect groove. Whether it is founding the legendary rare psychedelic night AFREAKA! in San Francisco or bringing the funkiest crew of DJs on the West Coast together to form the weekly Funky Rewind party, Makossa is dedicated to enforcing quality control over the ever-growing want-to-be DJs the digital music age has spawned. In 2012, he moved from the West Coast back to his hometown of St. Louis and founded the Bump & Hustle STL. The monthly, all vinyl event has been called the best monthly party the city has ever seen and continues to draw huge numbers. The Bump&Hustle STL has hosted special guests such as Edan, Natasha Diggs, Ohmega Watts and Skeme Richards amongst many others. Additionally, he has played shows with Cut Chemist, Lee Fields, the Gaslamp Killer and a number of other groundbreaking artists as well as having deejayed legendary parties such as Chicago’s Soul Summit and Los Angeles’ Funky Sole. Any time Makossa takes the stage, expect to hear classic, sure shot selections across all genres while leaving out the latest trending artists that lack any real substance or soul.
