Another fine year for funk and retro soul, with a globe spanning Top Ten for Hip City in 2021. I've been impressed by the positive outlook that many artists exhibited, especially as our prospects for the near future are less than certain. We may have to dance our way out of it, and the resurgence of a 70's sensibility seems to be leading us in that direction. Let's hope we can enjoy a sweaty show together safely soon!
