I'll include my usual disclaimer that I get equal pleasure in hearing new music by current artists and discovering previously unheard (by me) music that can date back decades. It's all about finding music that speaks to me in some way. It's a given that I only heard a small fraction of the vast number of releases from 2021. My only subjective criteria is that I believe, wholeheartedly, that I'll be happy hearing these albums years from now.
