All KDHX DJs are unpaid volunteers. The first step to volunteering is to fill out the Production Volunteer Application

You will receive a confirmation via e-mail after your registration has been received.

A KDHX staff person will be in touch with next steps to becoming a DJ. Volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older.

Thanks for your interest in being a volunteer at KDHX!

If you or your band is interested in receiving airplay on KDHX, please send a CD to the address listed below. It is helpful to include a one-sheet that describes the music and lists key tracks, FCC violations, press quotes and contact information. Full album artwork, track listing and jewel cases are also ideal. Full-length This email address is being protected from spambots. Our music department processes music into the new release section of our music library and informs DJs of new releases weekly by email. KDHX DJs are not required to play station music and we are considered a free-format station, so we have no set rotation or playlist. If the DJ likes it and it fits the format of the show, they will play it.

If you'd like to follow up about your release, please wait at least 2 weeks for processing, at which point you may

There are two main ways to support KDHX: you can make a single gift or you can join the monthly giving program.
There is no minimum for a single gift, although many people give at the $100 level or higher. A single gift of $365 or $30 per month results in the donor becoming a KDHX Sound Investor. Our Sound Investors receive four tickets to The Stage @ KDHX and invitations to exclusive KDHX events throughout the year.
You can provide KDHX with a steady source of income throughout the year by joining the monthly giving program. You can specify the amount you would like to give each month (minimum $10) and the day of the month you would like the gift deducted. We accept Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover for monthly gift payments.
The easiest way to make a single gift or join the monthly giving program is to visit the homepage of and click on "Donate". You are also welcome to call Donor Relations with any questions or  to make a donation at: 314-925-7529.You may also mail a check for a single gift to: KDHX--Donor Relations, 3524 Washington Ave, St Louis, MO 63103
